WARRIOR CATS
RANKINGS
LEADER: The head of the clan. This cat is in charge of making all of the decisions for the clan. The leader was previously the deputy. The leader of the clan must have the suffix of -star. No cats of other rankings may have the suffix -star due to its sacred symbolism. Leaders have nine lives that they receive the night of them becoming leader by traveling to the Moonpool.
DEPUTY: The second-in-command. When the leader dies, the deputy will become the leader. They oversee the duties of the clan, such as border patrols and hunting patrols.
MEDICINE CAT: The healer of the clan. Medicine cats have an extensive knowledge of healing herbs and medical techniques. They are required to help all sick and injured cats within the clan and are obliged to help other clan cats as well. Medicine cats also have a connection with StarClan.
MEDICINE CAT APPRENTICE: Apprentice of the medicine cat. One kit is chosen to be the Medicine Cat Apprentice to learn the ways of healing and communicating with StarClan as opposed to becoming a warrior. Medicine cat apprentices have the suffix of -paw.
WARRIOR: The bulk of the clan. The warriors are the fighters and the hunters of the clan. It is up to them to protect the clan's well-being and keep everyone fed. They are the mentors of apprentices and teach them everything they know.
APPRENTICES: The cats who are learning to be warriors. A kit can be made an apprentice at 6 moons old. When they are apprenticed, they receive a mentor who will teach them everything they know about fighting and hunting and living in a clan. Apprentices have the suffix of -paw.
QUEENS: The mothers of the clan. When a she-cat warrior becomes pregnant, she becomes a queen. She will remain a queen until she has given birth to her kits and has been deemed fit to resume her warrior duties. Queens have the right not to disclose who the father of their kits is.
KITS: The future of the clan. Kits are cats aged 0 to 6 moons. They do nothing for the clan, except grow big and strong until they become apprentices. Kits have the suffix of -kit.
ELDERS: Retired warriors. After warriors have served their clan until they are no longer able to, they become elders. They will remain elders until they die.
WARRIOR CODE

02. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
03. Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
