Eternal Hope (An Original Canine & Feline rp)

80 years ago many science labs where testing on animals, whether it was dogs, hamsters or cougars, every non human was being used in experiments. In the research lab there where 4 levels of research. Level 1 was to increase the intelligence of the test subject. Level 2 was to extend the life of the subject. Level 3 was to change the appearance of the subject. And level 4 was the extraction of the subjects soul, its essence.

Over the next 30 years these animals experienced the effects of the experiments, some learned other species languages, they learned basic math, and more, even though they could not respond in the humans language, the scientist knew that it was working. In level 2 the animals seemed to be living 1-3 years beyond the normal. Level 3 cats and dogs where showing color eyes, markings and fur. And level 4 the souls of the animals where no longer contained within their internal being, but rather project themselves as smaller animals outside of their bodies.

But by the time the experiments where showing great results, a deadly virus escaped a European lab. It only affected humans, and it left no one alive. The scientists that lived the first wave, decided to release the animals into the nearest land since soon enough no human could care for them.

50 years after the release these animals mingled, made their own packs, clans and tribes. Some of the different level subjects mated with one another, making young whom had side affects of 2, 3 or all of the levels.

Some of these dogs & cats now have the knowledge of level 1, while have a soul from level 4. Or having the coloring of level 3 with the added years of level 2.

As they evolve, societies are born...
