er body looked small and frail as she weaved her way among the forest. Her black fur helped her blend into the shadows and as she weaved into them, she appeared to disappear in thin air. The white spot on her chest was the only chance of giving her away, though she had learned over the years to simply be the ghost she so desperately could be. She had already managed to kill a vole and mouse, and she was still full of energy to keep going. The greenleaf this year was being very good to the cats of ThunderClan, and there was no reason to go back with such a small amount of kills. After the she cat had buried them, she decided it best to go to the Abandoned two leg nest inside their territory. It was often full of mice this time of year and it would be a perfect place to scavenge off two to three more mice, maybe even a squirrel if she was lucky. It didn't take her long to get there, and the second she was in hearing distance, she made sure to move stealthily. Her paws drifted over the leaves as silent as a snake, making sure to avoid crunching the leaves or twigs that surrounded it. Her amber eyes were wide and ready for a chase if it was given. Finally it was time to wiggle her way into the old two leg nest, her fur instantly feeling on end in the tight spaces. Trees were one thing, but a two leg nest, that was a completely different idea. Either way, she crouched in the middle, the place pretty dark due to the lack of windows, which was perfect for the cat. Her dark pelt blended into the shadows, but, this also helped the mice.
Once her eyes adapted to the darkness, she could make out a single movement in one of the corners. Cautiously and slowly, she began to move toward it, tail straight out behind her. When the distance was clear, she raced forward, teeth sinking into the little mouse and taking its life. But, what the black cat failed to notice was the wall it was so close to, smashing into it head first with a groan of pain. Sitting onto her haunches with the mouse dangling from her jaws she just sat there, waiting for the butterflies to go away so she could see straight.
