RULES

01. Respect others. Whether they are staff, member, or guest, every person is deserving of basic human respect and should be treated as such. If you are found to be breaking this rule, you will be punished as seen fit. If you are having problems with another member, please PM Danish or another staff member.

02. The staff's word is law. Break it, and you will be punished accordingly.

03. Controversial topics are not allowed on Arcane.

04. Be courteous to others in the c-box. This means no spamming, advertising, chatspeak, arguing, or impersonating others.

05. For the sake of role-play, please try to be active. This means posting at least once or twice a week. If your activity is compromised for any reason, please let us know in the Absences board. Not doing so could result in your accounts being deleted during an activity check. We do, however, respect your privacy, so you do not need to disclose the reason fro your activity lapse if you don't feel comfortable doing so.

06. We use Stardust as currency. Please up about it here. Please set up your bank account as soon as possible to start tracking your Stardust.

01. Non-staff members are not allowed to have OOC accounts. We are a one character per account role-play site. This means that for every character you create, you must have a separate account for it. To switch accounts without logging out, click on the Account Switch button in the lower right corner of the page.

02. You are allowed three starter character slots before you must purchase more. You can have a maximum of six characters. There is a possibility for you to gain more, but this is based on the staff's judgment of your activity and whether or not you can handle it.

03. Please fill in all fields of your profile relating to your character, especially your application and plotter. If you do not have a plotter, link it to your profile. Your profile must be completely filled out before you can post IC.

04. Don't mess with the character application. I spent a lot of time getting the coding right, so if you edit it, your character will not be accepted. However, if you have coding trouble with your application for whatever reason, please contact a staff member so we can fix the problem.

05. You may not create a queen or kit character without the purchase of a shop item.

06. Same goes for disabled (both physical and mental) cats.

07. And cats with unusual coat patterns and eye colorations.

08. All genders and sexualities are accepted here.

09. Please follow the traditional naming system for your character. If you need help, you can use this Naming Guide for reference.

10. Characters age 1 moon every 30 days. Kits age 1 moon every 15 days. Staff will PM you to change your characters' ages. You are responsible for doing this within five days of receiving the PM, or you will be fined 100 Stardusts.

01. No godmodding or power playing. You cannot control other people's characters. Simple as that.

02. Our word count in IC boards is 150 words.

03. Arcane is a PG-13 roleplay site. Please do not make mating, birthing, or battle posts too graphic. Even better, just fade to black if you can.

04. The outcome of battles with other characters and with predators will be based upon your character's stats. Please see this thread for information on stats.

05. Liquid time is permitted.

06. You are allowed to kill other people's characters, but only with their explicit permission.

07. Force-breeding is allowed, but only as part of a plot. You must have the character's owner's explicit permission.

08. Please keep your posts realistic. During battles, the other player has the right to ignore any attack that is too unrealistic or far-fetched.

01. Your main avatar should be sized 230x400. Your secondary avatar (the small one you see when you hover on the mini-profile) is 230x130 and can be found in the Personal tab of your profile.

02. Here on Arcane, we do not allow forum signatures.

03. Please only use stock or Creative Commons images. I don't want anyone getting themselves or the site in trouble with copyright infringement. An excellent site to find free to use images is located here.
